We are excited to invite you to our HelSec members-only RFID/NFC hacking workshop on Tuesday, June 2nd.

The workshop teaches the basics of NFC/RFID systems and how they work on a technical level while keeping security in mind. Participants will get to know and learn concepts such as ISO/IEC 14443A communication, memory models, and common weaknesses regarding access control systems. In the end participants can get hands-on learning experience through multiple challenges related to the concepts covered during the workshop.

The workshop is led by Santtu Sievänen, who is working as a Security Specialist at DNV Cyber. Santtu has a strong interest in NFC/RFID technology and even has 4 RFID microchip implants! Join Santtu to learn a technical foundation in NFC/RFID security.

For this workshop you will not need any of your own equipment, but if you have a Flipper Zero or Proxmark and device, feel free to bring those with you.
